Job Description:

This individual will work to design assets showing the visual experience of the different customer journeys and tell their stories.  Assets may be in the form of communication to employees, storyboards, written notifications, memos, PowerPoint decks, logos and a variety of work.  The person will have an eye for quality and use photos to help bring a story to life.

This role requires extreme attention to detail and the ability to produce and update assets in a timely manner as well as be flexible as priorities can shift.

This individual will help design/produce/illustrate/animate assets for that may be used both internally and externally.

• Coordinates with print vendors on design or printing-specific questions as the subject matter expert, ensuring all external collaborations meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Willing and able to work with previous designer’s templates in order to ensure consistency in branding.
• Has the ability to marry the written word with visual design to create powerful compelling messages for Delta.
• Develops concepts and designs as directed in the creative brief, including:
• Digital assets: email newsletters, website updates, banner ads, social media marketing deliverables, etc.
• Brand collateral design and print production
• Asset retouching, re-sizing, and manipulation
• Presentation Templates
• Moderate motion design
• Moodboard / Swipe Research for Design & Campaign concepts
• Delivers scalable creative solutions that drive results.
• Help art director/ACD provide art direction to photographers, videographers, print vendors, and other partners ensuring all content meets Delta’s brand guidelines.
• Follows processes for proofing, template consistency, and Delta brand compliance.
• Enforces brand standards.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)

●      At least 5+  years of graphic design & production experience.

●      Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, AfferEffects

●      Solid understanding of web/mobile standards, responsive design, UX, email, digital ad campaigns & social networks.

●      Deep understanding of brand narrative and storytelling.

●      Writing, communication, and presentation skills.

●      Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task across different projects.

●      Strong project management, time management, and attention to detail.

●      Individuals must be able to work autonomously as well as be part of a team.

●      Team player who is good at juggling priorities and managing time to achieve a balance of creativity and quality, while respecting timing and budgets

●      Excellent eye for typography, layout, color, editorial sensibility, innovative design and the latest trends

●      Experience using Workfront workflow software a plus

This team moves FAST and often requests turnaround times with little lead time, so if you are super flexible in terms of schedule, can work extremely quickly, and can jump into ambiguity and navigate a complicated org, this is for you!  The work that comes to this person is work that the internal agency can’t take on or complete by a deadline, so there is a lot of variety and lots of really cool, highly visible work that’s done, but the pace and communication can seem hectic.
