Scope of Work and Services
Support NAF’s programs through the following activities:
- National Abortion Hotline:
- Run reports in Salesforce to identify pledge issues, data conflicts, and inconsistencies (e.g., status mismatches, missing budget mapping, and potential duplicates).
- Analyze errors, identify root causes, and recommend preventative measures to reduce recurrence.
- Create new reports in Salesforce to support the business with useful analytics including creating custom report types.
- Create quick reference guides (QRGs) for essential tasks in Salesforce that result in frequent errors (e.g., how to cancel a pledge correctly, how to switch funds correctly, and how to find potential duplicates).
- Review facility budgets and rollover amounts to look for any errors or inconsistencies between Salesforce and Excel tracker.
- Support Operations payment cycles by running reports in Salesforce to verify amounts for reimbursement from specific funds.
- Provide consultation on tracking methods and spreadsheet optimization for practical support and facility budget tracking, making recommendations on efficiencies and improvements.
- Security:
- Manage incoming data collection and reconciliation for Security Statistics

Cross-Training & Organizational Support:
- Compile data and analyze trends to assist with donor reporting and press requests.
- Provide KPI consultation on organizational dashboard and goal/workplan tracking.
- Serve as a temporary backup for essential operational tasks including development of annual KPIs and departmental goal / workplan development.
- Develop Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) and documentation to standardize key processes and ensure continuity:
- Medical department Abortion Quality Indicator (AQI) reporting workflow
- Medical department site visit coding and tiering process
Preferred Skills and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, business analytics, statistics, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in organizational intelligence, reporting, and analytics.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce, including data management, reporting, and system optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn business needs into actionable solutions.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, business intelligence software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience creating interactive dashboards using multiple datasets and relational databases.
- Skilled in qualitative and quantitative data gathering, with an understanding of its impact on program design and management.
- Expertise in creating technical documentation (e.g., user manuals, specifications).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, able to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills at all organizational levels.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Programming skills a plus.
Consulting Hours and Fee Schedule
- Monthly Retainer
- Minimum of 100 hours per month
- Temporary Consultant Role (1099 Independent Contractor), not benefits eligible.
