THE ROLE:
We’re looking for a Mid-Level UI/UX Designer to join our team! This role is multi-disciplined, requiring a blend of design and implementation skills to help bring our game’s interface and experience to life. The ideal candidate will be interested in working in a high-energy, creative, and collaborative environment. You are entrepreneurial in spirit and enjoy wearing many hats. You have a deep understanding of the UI/UX design process, including ideation, prototyping, and final implementation in Unreal. Your goal is to create engaging, intuitive, and visually compelling interfaces that enhance gameplay and improve user experience.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
● Design and implement UI features using Unreal Engine’s tools (Blueprints, UMG) focusing on usability.
● Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that illustrate user journeys and UI/UX concepts.
● Work with engineers and artists to bring UI to life, balancing technical constraints and design goals.
● Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure a cohesive and high-quality user experience.
● Strong attention to detail with analytical thinking combined with strong initiative and responsibility.
● Provide feedback on UI/UX design improvements and refine designs based on user testing and project.
● Scope UI/UX requirements for features and help define execution plans to ensure timely implementation.
● Implement improvements to UI workflows and processes to enhance efficiency across the team.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
● 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer working on game projects for PC or console.
● Strong design principles and experience creating intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing interfaces.
● Proficiency with Unreal Engine 4 or newer (Ideally UE5+), including UMG and Blueprint scripting.
● Familiarity with version control systems such as Perforce.
● Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and final UI elements.PLUSES:
● Knowledge of API and backend integration for dynamic UI elements.
● Experience working with Unreal Engine 5.
● Familiarity with tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or equivalent.
● Experience with Jira and Confluence.
● Degree in Design,Computer science, or equivalent.
