Project Management Senior Associate Contract

• Ideal candidate should have Smartsheet experience, Must understand the Agile principles and have experience in Agile project management and Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFE, etc.), BA/BS in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, life sciences, or other technical discipline; Advanced degree preferred. Demonstrated capability to influence without authority, drive detailed project planning, and lead projects execution, Demonstrated proficiency & adaptability with related software tools (Smartsheet, Jira, Miro, Visio, SharePoint, MS Teams, OneNote, Office 365, etc.); preferably within engineering or pharmaceutical/biotech industry,
• Responsible for all aspects of various projects of a moderately complex nature. Interfaces with all areas affected or supporting the project.
• Responsible for assembling project time, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing the schedule to ensure timely completion of the project.
• Monitors projects from initiation through delivery including budget/spending if needed.

Key Accountabilities

• Provides clear direction on project requirements to meet expectations of customers and stakeholders.
• Leads the team in defining program strategies, developing goals, identifying risks, assigning project tasks and ensures the team meets all goals.
• Interacts through program updates and reviews with all levels of management.
• Provides Project Management technical expertise in all phases of project execution.
• Applies Agile principles in all project management activities.
• Anticipates and resolves conflict situations in a win-win outcome.
• Contributes to study management and the development of study documents as appropriate as well as any updates/amendments, ensuring template and version compliance.
• Manages the set-up of third-party vendors, assessing initial statement of work and budget, as well as the change order process.
• Prepares presentation material for meetings and newsletters.
• Contributes to review of new/amended/unique SOPs and guidance documents.

Basic Qualifications    

• Master degree OR Bachelor degree and 2 years of experience OR Associate degree and 6 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 8 years of experience

Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets:    

• BA/BS in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, life sciences, or other technical discipline; Advanced degree preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new concepts and tools.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively navigate ambiguity, complexity, and competing priorities in a matrixed and fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated aptitude for collaboration & relationship building.
• Demonstrated ability in applying Agile principles and adapting them in managing projects and teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated capability to influence without authority, drive detailed project planning, and lead projects execution.
• Demonstrated proficiency & adaptability with related software tools (Smartsheet, Jira, Miro, Visio, SharePoint, MS Teams, OneNote, Office 365, etc.)

Pay Rate- between $43 – $50/Hr on W2 based on experience.
