Whiteboard Marketing is looking for a dedicated SEO Specialist Contractor to take charge of multiple client projects, ensuring their websites achieve optimal performance and growth. In this role, you’ll leverage your skills to drive organic traffic, improve user engagement, and implement strategic optimizations that yield measurable results.
As an SEO Specialist Contractor, you will be responsible for onboarding new clients, managing ongoing SEO efforts, and uncovering new opportunities to improve site performance. If you are a self-motivated, data-driven SEO professional with a passion for excellence, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Client Ownership: Manage multiple SEO clients and projects, delivering high-quality results without compromising performance.
- Execution & Monitoring: Oversee day-to-day activities, ensuring client deliverables are met on time and to the highest standards.
- Keyword & Competitor Research: Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to shape SEO strategy.
- Content & Metadata Creation: Write and optimize metadata for various websites, enhancing search engine visibility.
- Technical SEO: Identify and resolve on-page and off-page technical issues that affect site performance.
- Optimization & Strategy: Continuously identify new opportunities to optimize sites, improve strategies, and boost performance.
- Data Analysis: Use various platforms to measure, track, and analyze KPIs. Report results and ROI to clients and internal teams.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Self-Starter: Proactive with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for clear, concise, and effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in all work.

- Continuous Learner: Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and best practices to continuously improve your approach.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in SEO, executing organic search campaigns (local business experience is a plus, but not required).
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager and the ability to implement these tools on websites.
- Experience working with WordPress and a deep understanding of its SEO capabilities.
- Knowledge of Google Business Profile and other business listing directories.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Drive, email marketing systems, and project management platforms.
- Familiarity with Agency Analytics, CallRail, and SEMrush (preferred, but not required).
