We are seeking a talented and passionate UI/UX Designer to join our team at Watermark Books and Café. This is a entry level job position. As the UI/UX Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the overall user experience for our bookstore and café website and mobile app. Your creative skills, attention to detail, and ability to understand user needs will be key in creating a visually appealing and intuitive digital platform for our customers.
Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and marketers to design and implement new features
– Conduct user research and gather feedback to understand user needs and preferences
– Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design ideas
– Develop and adhere to design standards and guidelines to maintain consistency across all digital platforms
– Continuously iterate and improve designs based on user data and feedback
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction or related field
– 1 year of experience in UI/UX design for web
– Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma
– Knowledge of coding languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills
