Description

We’re seeking an experienced web developer who excels at writing clean code, understands the structure behind technical decisions, is well-versed at debugging complex systems, and can clearly communicate in both technical and non-technical language. As a member of Crowd Favorite, you’ll leverage these skills to both build new features and maintain high-performing content management platforms for enterprise clients, with a focus on stability and performance while growing your technical capabilities.

Core Responsibilities:

• Implement new features and maintain existing enterprise platforms
• Provide technical support for business-critical applications
• Debug and resolve complex production issues
• Optimize system performance and implement caching strategies
• Build custom plugins and integrate third-party services
• Monitor and maintain high-traffic production environments
• Perform security updates and maintenance within defined SLAs
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and technical planning sessions
• Collaborate with senior developers on architecture and best practices
• Contribute to technical documentation
• Support client communications alongside senior team members

Requirements

Required Experience:

• 3+ years of professional PHP development experience, including Laravel applications and WordPress
• TypeScript and Node.js expertise, with experience in modern JavaScript frameworks
• Demonstrated experience maintaining and extending enterprise content management platforms
• Proven ability to debug complex production issues and implement automated testing solutions
• Solid understanding of API development, integration, and RESTful architecture patterns
• Advanced knowledge of performance optimization, caching strategies, and scalable solutions
• Proficiency with version control systems and modern deployment processes
• Experience working with cloud platforms and services like AWS and Cloudflare
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive documentation

Technical Capabilities:

• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Ability to implement complex features independently
• Understanding of database optimization and query performance
• Experience with modern development tools and practices
• Knowledge of security best practices and updates
• Comfort with command line and server environments
• Experience with build tools and deployment processes

Support & Maintenance Skills:

• Experience handling production support tickets
• Ability to prioritize issues based on business impact
• Understanding of monitoring and logging systems
• Experience with performance profiling and optimization
• Knowledge of security best practices and update procedures
• Ability to document issues and solutions clearly

Professional Skills:

• Clear written and verbal communication
• Ability to explain technical concepts to team members
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Experience working in remote teams
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills
• B2 CEFR level of spoken and written English language proficiency
