Geek Powered Studios is an Austin-based, full-service digital marketing agency, and we’re looking for a Web Designer to join our team! We design, build, and service in-house, so you’ll work on a variety of projects—from full site builds and landing pages to banner ads, newsletters, and social ad creatives.
This role starts as part-time with the potential to go full-time based on performance and business needs. You’ll need to be strong in your design skills, comfortable with development, graphic design, and video editing, and an expert at Webflow with the ability to flex to WordPress and Shopify when needed.
We work collaboratively on most projects, so being a team player is a must—but you should also be able to work independently and meet deadlines without constant oversight.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and develop custom Webflow sites with modern UX/UI best practices.
- Work on Shopify and WordPress projects, including theme customization, site optimization, and functionality enhancements.
- Build landing pages, website components, banner ads, and email templates.
- Create high-quality social media ads and promotional videos for campaigns.
- Ensure responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and site performance optimization.
- Collaborate with our SEO, development, and marketing teams to create high-performing websites and digital assets.
- Stay up-to-date on design trends, UX/UI best practices, and CRO strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong portfolio with at least 4 relevant projects (websites, ads, and video work).
- Expert-level skill in Webflow with WordPress and Shopify capabilities
- Experience with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools.
- Intermediate to advanced understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience creating social media ad graphics and short-form marketing videos.
- A solid grasp of typography, layout, and design principles.
- Ability to manage deadlines, work independently, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience with CRO (conversion rate optimization) best practices.
- Agency experience preferred.
- Must be physically located in the U.S. and able to work as a W2 employee (no sponsorship available).
