Ed Hastings is President and majority owner. He is 62. His areas include finance, accounting, planning, long-term vision, legal, IT, and the legal and compliance aspects of human resources. Jason Smith is Managing Director and founder. He is 52. His areas include marketing, sales and account management at the strategic level, demand generation, and brand. Stephanie Krol is Chief Operating Officer. She is 43 years old. She manages the three business lines and leads the recruiting and team engagement aspects of human resources.

The Opportunity

As the Director of Project Management for our Web Solutions business line, you will lead a high-performing project management team focused on delivering web solutions efficiently and consistently. Your team will be directly responsible for client communication, management, and satisfaction. You will drive continuous improvement in project management processes to minimize risks, and ensure project success.

To excel in this role, you will foster a project management culture that drives successful delivery of large web projects. You will implement improvement initiatives to optimize project efficiency, minimize schedule risks, and more, leading to strong financial performance for the Web Solutions project portfolio. Your experience in client services within an agency environment will be invaluable in building strong relationships with our clients and ensuring their satisfaction.

Performance will be measured against the following criteria:

• Project planning and execution: Ensuring project plans are accurate, schedules are adhered to, and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and within scope.
• Financial performance: Achieving portfolio profitability targets, maintaining reliable revenue forecasting, and proactively managing project profitability.
• Team performance: Fostering a positive team culture, ensuring employee engagement, and supporting project managers’ professional development.
• Client satisfaction: Delivering exceptional client service, building strong relationships, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction with the project management process.
• Resource utilization: Optimizing project manager utilization, preventing unsustainable workloads, and effectively managing project assignments.

Successful outcomes will include:

Next Steps

The title is Director of Project Management, Web Solutions, reporting to Jenny Yakas, VP of Web Services. The annual base pay is $120,000 – $140,000 depending on experience. Benefits include a 401(k) match up to 4% of pay (6% when 80% of planned annual profit is achieved), four weeks of vacation, nine holidays, another day off of your choosing, and summer Fridays.
