The Digital Experience Team impacts the global growth of HubSpot’s core products by developing sites, applications, and experiences for the HubSpot brand. We’re looking for a senior-level developer to support core website optimization initiatives that will drive QL growth for our business partners. This role will specifically partner with the Conversational Marketing team in developing and integrating chatflows across our web experiences, helping to drive chat engagement and innovation. We primarily utilize a Serverless (AWS) + NodeJS tech stack along with integrating solutions into the HubSpot CMS.
In this role, you’ll get to:
- Develop websites and full-stack web solutions that contribute positively to core business goals and HubSpot’s web experiences
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain key infrastructure components related to chat flow integrations for our internal partners
- Work in a cross-functional team of Creatives (Dev, UX Design, PM) and Business Partners across the Marketing team to drive value and solve business challenges
- Work with localization partners to scale solutions to international markets
- Collaborate with Product engineers and share feedback on internal tools to improve the efficacy and reach of our projects and solutions
- Explore new technologies and how to implement them within team projects
- Come up with creative ideas and collaborate with peers to bring them to life
- Keep learning and advancing your skills by digging into code
- Lead multiple projects with many moving parts
- Set high-quality standards for yourself and challenge those around you
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
We are looking for people who:
- Ideally have 4+ years of web development experience
- Effectively communicate with non-technical stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of RESTful services & API development
- Knowledgeable in server-side development utilizing Node.js
- Knowledge of modern Javascript, such as ES6+
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React.js, Vue.js, Angular) and templating systems (EJS)
- Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and cross-browser and device compatibility
- Experience with testing automation tools, such as Jest & Cypress
- Experience with Git or other version control systems
- Passionate about performance, reusability, security, and coding best practices
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Experience with AWS or GCP
- CI/CD knowledge
- Familiar with microservices
- Familiar with networking
- Mentorship of other developers
