Role Overview:
As the SEO Director at Rehab Media, you’ll lead our SEO and content strategy, driving initiatives to enhance organic traffic, conversions, and user engagement across our platforms.
Your goal is to position our sites as the go-to sources in the addiction and rehab industry.
You’ll manage and mentor a team of SEO professionals and work closely with data analysts, content creators, and other stakeholders to implement a holistic SEO strategy that aligns with our broader company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategy Development & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive content and SEO strategy that aligns with Rehab Media Network’s mission, driving organic performance and industry leadership across multiple sites.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor SEO specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development to drive high team performance.
• Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Provide in-depth analysis and reporting on traffic trends, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to address traffic declines and capitalize on growth opportunities.
• Content Ideation & Execution: Oversee the ideation and execution of content topics, ensuring alignment with SEO best practices and relevance to the addiction and rehab space.
• Process Optimization: Analyze and refine existing processes and workflows, implementing improvements to optimize efficiency and results.
• Trend Awareness & Adaptation: Stay current on the latest SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and developments within the addiction and rehab industry to keep our strategies ahead of the curve.
• Team Development: Recruit, train, and develop team members as needed, promoting a collaborative, supportive, and results-driven team culture.
• SEO Optimization: Lead all aspects of SEO, including on-page, off-page, and technical improvements, to maximize search rankings and visibility.
• Opportunity Identification: Analyze site performance and audience behavior to identify key opportunities for enhancing organic search and forecast emerging trends.
• Communication & Culture: Maintain transparent communication within the team and across departments, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Requirements
• Leadership Experience: Minimum of 3 years managing a digital team, preferably with experience overseeing multiple sites.
• SEO Expertise: At least 7 years in a senior SEO role, with a strong command of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
• Content & Traffic Growth: Proven success in delivering engaging content that drives organic traffic growth.
• Process Improvement: Experience in creating, maintaining, and enhancing editorial and SEO workflows.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret analytics, communicate insights, and develop actionable strategies for executives and team members alike.
• Team Building: Demonstrated ability to recruit, manage, and lead high-performing teams, fostering an empowering environment.
• Content Strategy & Digital Marketing: Deep understanding of user-centered content strategy, brand alignment, and digital marketing principles.
• SEO Mastery: Comprehensive knowledge of SEO planning, implementation, and performance analysis, including keyword research, on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies.
